New England Classic® now offers a beadboard solution that not only looks totally authentic but out perfoms conventional beadboard alternatives by a country mile. Featuring a crisp, rounded double bead design, our Classic Beadboard recreates the look and feel of "Cottage Style" architecture at its best.

The system's panel sections, rails, caps and shoes integrate perfectly with New England Classic® FramePaks® and CasingPaks®. Door and window moldings match perfectly.

Panels are precision cut to either 8"x23" or 8"x31". All components use an engineered wood core which ensures minimal seasonal expansion and contraction, so there are no unsightly gaps or seams.

Each Classic Beadboard® PanelSet® contains six panels covering four lineal feet. The installed system has four finished heights: 32", 36", 40" and 44". Installation is a snap, requiring less than half the time of solid boards applications.

Painting is also quick and simple with no sanding necessary. All elements are fully primed and ready to paint with latex, oil, or acrylic. One finish coat provides a rich smooth surface and years of satisfaction.

The cost of the Classic BeadboardT system will surprise you, and the time saved in installation and finishing makes the system more than affordable for almost every situation. There is no better way to bring the warmth and style of beadboard to your next project than with the New England Classic® system.

History

Classic Beadboard traces it's ancestry to 19th century Victorian, English Country, Cottage, Folk, and Queen Anne styles. It was associated with less formal homes and spaces, particularly vacation cottages.

Applications

Classic Beadboard is generously used in cottages and vacation homes as well as foyers, hallways, bathrooms, and other less formal gathering spaces of primary residences.
